London, April 11th 2024 - Together TV, the leading UK broadcaster inspiring positive change, proudly announces the filmmakers chosen for the Diverse Film Fund 2024, focusing on empowering storytellers from deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent (DDN) communities. This year, the fund welcomes two exceptional talents: Stefan Pollak and Bim Ajadi. 

London, February 2024 - Together TV, the UK broadcaster inspiring positive change, proudly announces the launch of the 2024 edition of the Diverse Film Fund, focusing on empowering deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent (DDN) filmmakers to tell authentic stories about Britain's diverse communities. This year's edition marks a significant milestone as the fund welcomes two new partners on board: Whisper, a leading sports and entertainment production company, and the British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust (BSLBT).

A new initiative giving young filmmakers the opportunity to see their short community-based film airing on TV.

• Four LGBTQ+ stories brought to life by Together TV are to be released in November: from the aquatic adventures of two queer mermaids, the tumultuous tale of a trans boxer campaigning for the right to fight, to Britain’s first out Muslim drag queen undergoing gender affirmation surgery and the struggles of two gay dads going through a painful child adoption process.
• Together TV’s Diverse Film Fund was created with the aim to give underrepresented narratives a platform. Four filmmakers have been commissioned to create 20-minute documentaries and will have their films aired on Together TV
• The filmmakers include Hollyoaks star Ross Adams, who explores his painful journey and reflection upon the adoption process for LGBTQ+ couples, and former Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Shiva Raichandani.
• This year's theme is LGBTQ+: Queer Lives Today, which celebrates the LGBTQ+ community while bringing attention to important issues affecting the day-to-day lives of its members.
• The 2022 Diverse Film Fund includes mentors and judges from media giants including, BBC, Sky, Paramount, TwoFour Productions, Zinc Media Group, alongside Bafta-nominated director Ashley Francis-Roy and industry expert Stephen D Wright.

• Together TV, the social purpose broadcaster, welcomes Ubisoft Leamington and Ubisoft Reflections Managing Director Lisa Opie as new Chair of the channel from mid-September
• Lisa succeeds Founder and Chair Caroline Diehl MBE who is stepping down in September
• Together TV’s current board of Trustees includes senior executives from the charitable channel’s partners, including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky, and Arqiva
• Lisa joins as Together TV starts a new path of digital transformation with a brand new streaming service and pioneering hybrid channel
• The board also announced the appointment of Satmohan Panesar, Commissioner Editor at ITV as Vice-Chair of Together TV

• Social purpose broadcaster, Together TV's streaming service has launched
• The broadcaster’s streaming platform is free to use and is available on mobile, tablet and desktop, via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and watch.togethertv.com. It is also available via the Apple TV and Android TV app stores with more TV apps to follow soon
• The service will encourage users to "Channel Your Inner Good" by providing resources linked to inspiring content they have watched
• This is the first streaming service integrating motivating content along with change-making campaigns at a national scale 
• Premium content on the platform includes household-name series on gardening, homes, food, and travelogues alongside award-winning documentaries, including a recent BAFTA winner funded and supported by Together TV
• TV gardener Danny Clarke and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, whose series Together TV broadcasts, welcome the launch of this new service  

• Our Land, from Together TV’s Diverse Film Fund 2021, wins the award for Best Short Form Programme at the British Academy Television Awards 2022
• Together TV’s Diverse Film Fund was created with the aim to give underrepresented narratives a platform
