The BFI Network Live and the Doc Society hosted a webinar with us to discuss Together TV’s Diverse Film Fund as well as diversifying the industry and a Q&A for applying for the fund. Together TV’s Diverse Film Fund is a unique opportunity for emerging filmmakers to create a short doc reflecting diverse communities. The 2021 theme is black British lives today and we are offering £10,000 to five filmmakers as well as mentoring and a TV broadcast. The deadline to submit applications for the Diverse Film Fund is midday 31st March 2021. Get your applications in ASAP; more information and the application form is on our website.

Here at Together TV, we aspire to encourage positive change in the lives of our viewers, for you to stay happier and healthier. And a happier life also means healthy relationships. In this blog you can find an assortment of resources for supporting healthy relationships with yourself and other people. These resources are specially collected for the viewers of our Sex Secrets series that run in the evenings on Together TV. 

Country House Rescue is one of our most beloved series on Together TV. It may be a guilty pleasure, but who doesn’t love glimpsing into how the other half live? We are excited to show series four, but we will miss host Ruth Watson. 

Britain is home to many heroes. What makes a hero is incredibly personal. Plastic is undoubtedly an amazing material. It’s strong and durable; think of plastic chairs, plug sockets and ironing baskets. Unfortunately, this strong and durable material has been adopted by almost all industries and is now being used for purposes that last a matter of weeks.

Blue Monday has been considered the saddest day of the year. However, it is also Together TV’s anniversary, and we think there is a lot worth celebrating to help beat the blue. We’ve highlighted our favourite moments of 2020 with bright colours and the impressive numbers you’ve helped us achieve.

The essence of communities lies in supporting each other by helping out. The impact helping out has on a community is immeasurable as every little helps. However, volunteering has loads of positive impact on the volunteer too. 

We all feel lonely at times, whilst it is a normal feeling, by not talking about it little progress is made to overcome it. Understanding loneliness, destigmatising it and facing it can help us minimise loneliness and social isolation across the nation.
