What’s On TV This June
All shows are available on:
Freeview 83 | Sky 170 | Virgin 136 | Freesat 162 or watch live here
Richard Wilson’s Highland Fling
First on air: 28 June, 5:00 PM
Richard Wilson – yes, Victor Meldrew himself – heads back to the Highlands and Islands to reconnect with his roots. It’s scenic, thoughtful, and full of character. A proper treat.
Blood On Satan’s Claw
First on air: 19 June, 12:00 AM
A buried skull, strange behaviour, and something not quite right in the village… this folk horror classic delivers old-fashioned chills with a very British twist.
House of Whipcord
First on air: 21 June, 12:00 AM
When a young model is trapped in a sinister reform school, things quickly turn dark. Dramatic and a bit shocking – for fans of vintage thrillers.
Doomwatch
First on air: 14 June, 8:00 PM
Strange mutations and a government cover-up on a remote island. One of those classic British films that feels strangely modern all these years later.
Cruel Passion
First on air: 13 June, 10:00 PM
Two sisters, two very different paths. One sticks to virtue, the other embraces temptation. Not one for the kids, but compelling if you're in the mood for something bold.
The Musketeer
First on air: 10 June, 9:00 PM
Featuring Kevin McNally, an award-winning spin on the old Three Musketeers tale that will leave you wanting for more.
Still Worth a Watch: Familiar Favourites Returning This June
Alongside our brand new telly picks, there are a few familiar faces and comforting classics popping back up on Together TV this month. Perfect for when you want something reliable, a bit uplifting, and not too heavy.
Here’s what to keep an eye out for:
Garden Rescue (Series 7 & 8)
Charlie Dimmock and the team are back, working their magic on gardens across the country. They’re full of tips for small spaces and shoestring budgets – and there’s always a nice bit of banter too. Great if you’re pottering about with your own patch.
Rare Breed – A Farming Year
Follow farming families as they deal with calving, crops, and everything in between. It’s a lovely reminder of the rhythm of the countryside – and if you grew up in or near a farming community, there’ll be plenty that feels familiar.
The Great House Giveaway
Strangers are handed the keys to a doer-upper and told to renovate it on a tight deadline. Sometimes they nail it, sometimes it’s a bit of a shambles – but that’s all part of the fun. If you like a bit of DIY with a human touch, this one’s for you.
Try Something New with Creative Lives in Scotland
If Richard Wilson’s scenic wanderings get you thinking it might be time to do something different too, Creative Lives has just the thing.
They support all sorts of local groups where people get together to sing, sew, paint, chat, or just try something new. And the best part? Most are completely free or just a few pounds.
They’ve even built a handy Creativity Map so you can search for something near you:
creative-lives.org/creativity-map
You’ll find:
- Men’s sheds and woodwork groups
- Knitting circles and craft clubs
- Photography and painting meetups
- Choirs, ukulele groups and storytelling nights
It’s not about being good at it – it’s about joining in.
