Together TV has two open vacancies for an Editor and a Development Executive to join its small team that strives to inspire postive change through telly.

Editor

The role:

This role will be responsible for preparation and delivery of our programmes items for broadcast, so you will have proficient editing and technical skills, as well as media management skills.

This role works alongside and reports to our Director of Post Production and will work closely with the channel’s content and marketing leads, and with our content, playout, platform and digital partners to acquire, compliance edit and deliver our programming. 

Alongside this you will work on the production, editing and delivery of our trailers, social video content, campaigns and clips, with the goal of enticing viewers to watch our series, engage with our digital channels and take part in our campaigns.  

We are keen to widen the diversity and inclusion of our team, and would particularly welcome applications from people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds.

Responsibilities will include trafficking and editing media, creative editing and systems management.

Development Executive

The role:

Reporting to the Head of Content & Scheduling, we’re looking for content executive to lead on our programming for Together TV, along with working on our scheduling and planning when required. 

This role is all about audience-driving and impact-driving content which enables viewers to make a change in their lives. This will involve securing new programmes from the leading broadcasters, distributors, independent filmmakers, charities and social enterprises, with duties across acquisitions, business affairs, compliance and other content-related activities.

Along with building our growing TV audience this role will develop new programming ideas, nurture new filmmaking talent and develop new partnerships with film festivals, film schools and digital content partners.

We need someone with experience of production development and content distribution, a someone who is passionate about how storytelling can change lives.

This role will also be trained in scheduling so it can cover for the Head of Content & Scheduling when required. The ability to move between content, planning and scheduling with flexibility will be needed.
