Children's Books International Day

Despite the distractions of technology, books have not lost their magical ability to transport our minds to other realities and live through the eyes of fantastical characters and provide us with a full imaginative unlike no other. In the occasion of the International Children's Books Day, Together is happy to announce a book prize draw dedicated to those who want to do more in their lives and for others. Especially the younger ones!

All you need to do is to subscribe to our monthly newsletter to get a chance to win 1 out of 15 copies of  the brand new book 'The Tunnels Below' written by the voice of our channel Nadine Wild-Palmer! A tale of magic, freedom, emotion set in the underground of London, featuring the London Tube.

The book will be available in the main bookshops from end of April across the UK. This is your opportunity to get the book before it will be even released to the public!

How to participate

Participating to this book Prize Draw couldn't be easier: just subscribe to our monthly newsletter by clicking on the maxi button below or here and you will be automatically entered to the prize draw. If your email address will be selected, we will get in touch from our main offices and ask you for your home address to send you the book to. So make sure you will check your mailbox after the end of this competition!

The prize? Only for our viewers, we will have available 15 copies of the book 'The Tunnels Below' by Nadine Wild-Palmer and published by Pushkin Press before it will even hit the bookshops. 'The Tunnels Below' follows 12 year old Cecilia, who becomes seperated from her family while riding the tube. She finds herself hurtling along on an empty train which takes her to another world, full of half human and half animal creatures. It's not a  world that she's used to though as it is a world where feelings are suppressed and no one lives freely. Will she ever get back to her family forms the plot of this fantasy tale! 

About the Author -  Nadine Wild-Palmer

Nadine Wild-Palmer is one of our beloved continuity announcers for Together TV. She is also a poet, singer, ex-children's librarian and now a children's author too. In her debut novel, 'The Tunnels Below' children will be taken on a magical adventure set on the London underground.
