Along with "To Know Him," the writer of the series "Deaf Funny," Charlie Swinbourne is nominated for a Royal Television Society (RTS) Yorkshire Award for Best Writer! This new show broke barriers, featuring both deaf actors and bringing back the art of the comedy sketch show in tremendous fashion.

“I'm very honoured to have been nominated for this Writer’s award. It's completely unexpected and whether I win or lose I'm delighted to be nominated in a mainstream category," said Charlie in a statement to the BSLBT.
