Together TV is owned by The Community Channel, a charitable community benefit society. We will be happy to refund expenses for food and travel to the selected candidates up to £70 per week.

Volunteer Marketing Assistant

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, we are looking for a Volunteer Marketing Assistant to support our digital and social media on Together TV’s digital and marcomms activity. This includes creating engaging and shareable content across our website and social media, growing our communities, working with our web and social video agency and running paid media campaigns. 

You will help implement our new marketing systems, making our user flows from subscriber to receiving communications simple and effective.

We need someone who lives and breathes digital, great at crafting and creating great content, is hands-on and works with initiative and at pace.

Volunteer Edit Assistant

Reporting to the Head of Post Production, we’re looking for a volunteer edit assistant to assist with the smooth running of a small but very busy post-production department. This is a hands-on role focused on supporting the delivery of acquired programmes to air and the creation of supporting promos. The results of your work will be broadcast into millions of homes.

Key responsibilities include quality control of incoming programmes and the associated editing and post production to ensure programmes comply with current broadcast standards.

On-the-job training will be provided but the successful candidate is expected to have a good working knowledge of editing and current tv practices and be hungry to learn more. We have a strong track-record of former volunteers going on to work in paid roles within the TV industry.

Volunteer Scheduling Assistant

The post holder will be responsible for preparation of presentation schedules for Together TV. There may be some delivery of final presentation schedules and ability to move between presentation and programming duties with flexibility will be needed. Primary aim of the role is to create and prepare daily presentation schedules for Schedule Manager sign-off, ensuring transmission schedule adheres to all Ofcom regulations, including COSTA rules and compliance.
