A Bipolar Expedition

Mansion and huge yard

A Bipolar Expedition tells the story of 49 year old Midlands businessman Paul Downes hired a castle in Jamaica and invited 12 attractive young Ukranian women to join him in the hopes that one would marry him. Paul suffers from bipolar disorder and has a manic episode during his two week holiday which causes his plans to turn bizarre and troubling. He quickly loses interest in the women and A Bipolar Expedition spends time exploring the origins of Paul's bipolar tendencies and the impact on his life.

Just like physical health, your mental health can fluctuate. It is ok to feel depressed, anxious, and generally not yourself. It is normal to have a range of sad and happy feelings throughout the course of a day. Here are some organisations that can provide you with expert advice and support for your mental health.

For some people, like Paul in A Bipolar Expedition , these feelings manifest from a mental health condition and can benefit from professional help. If you feel overwhelmed by the emotions and feelings you experience, please reach out. There is no need to be embarrassed or fearful about getting help for how you feel - just like you wouldn't deny medical care for a physical illness. You can also reach out to our team who can directly connect you to an organisation, and we will listen to you.
