Filmmakers in the UK! Keep your eyes peeled as Together TV's Diverse Film Fund is back – and it’s going to be bigger and better. Five talented filmmakers will be able to access up to £20k each for five 20-minute documentary films to get their first TV broadcast credit as Director/Producer and access a dedicated programme of training and mentoring from industry experts. Applications are now open for the second edition of Together TV's Diverse Film Fund. Together TV will fund and support five 20-minute documentaries in addition to providing mentoring and training from media industry experts. Each of the selected emerging filmmakers will receive up to £20k in production budget to create a film elevating the voices of the UK’s LGBTQIA+ community of 2022.
The theme is “Queer Lives Today” with the films to set premier on Together TV later this year. The Fund will support five emerging filmmakers to make 20-minute documentaries with funding up to £20,000 per film, where filmmakers will also obtain their first broadcast credit as Director/Producer, expert training & mentoring from the media industry's finest. The aim is to support and help develop a diverse group of promising talent.
The Fund, open to all filmmakers who are aged over 18 years old and are UK residents, is open for submissions from Tuesday 1st March, and the closing date of Thursday 31 March. All five documentaries will be aired on Together TV from November 2022.
