Why your support is important for us and for the viewers we serve

1. WE DELIVER SOCIAL IMPACT THROUGH TRADITIONAL TV 

With Freeview, 12 million viewers watch us on TV each year. 
85% of our viewers make a positive and real-world change* in their lives because of watching Together TV. *Opinium 2023
65% of our viewers are 65+, largely analogue and digitally disconnected. Without Freeview our daily reach halves and income and social impact reduce by 50%. We are struggling to secure Freeview carriage. We need to remain accessible to millions who still watch traditional TV. Traditional TV is still 90% of our income. 

2. WE SUPPORT NEW FILMMAKERS WITH UNIQUE STORIES TO TELL 

Our BAFTA-winning Diverse Film Fund nurtures new filmmakers and gets recognition and support by and from the industry. 
We support and mentor emerging filmmakers, bringing to life stories that otherwise would not have been told. Their films go beyond Together TV as share them with other platforms and festivals around the world. 
We need funding to run this next year.

3. WE PROVIDE A VITAL COMMUNITY ACTION PLATFORM FOR VIEWERS AND OVER 500 CHARITIES PER YEAR 

We have one-to-one relationships with viewers like nobody else. 

Through our community action campaigns such as You Are Not Alone and Sunflower Challenge we have directly reduced social isolation, increased community connection, and improved the lives of 250k participants and a thousand community groups.

We are the only channel to offer BSL content in primetime and we support charity and government public engagement campaigns. 

We create social impact at scale with extremely limited resources and deliver a public service that no other broadcaster or streamer can.

Together TV’s Diverse Film Fund

Started in 2020 in response to the Black Lives Matter movement, Together TV’s BAFTA winning Diverse Film Fund offers a platform for diverse stories that need to be heard and opportunities to upcoming filmmakers.

As a result of watching, our viewers do more in their local community, from volunteering for a charity to getting involved in a creative project or fundraising for a cause close to their heart. Our vision is a world where people and their communities thrive together.
