The success of ‘The Hospice’ commissioned by Together alongside producers Knickerbockerglory, provided viewers with the opportunity to observe the spectacular work and care delivered to many patients of all ages, all at the hands of the amazing staff and volunteers at Ellenor. 

 

In these unprecedented times, Kent’s only charity providing hospice care for all ages – babies, children and adults – have made significant changes to their care services to cope with the non-Coronavirus patients in their local hospitals, which includes ensuring there are enough beds for Coronavirus patients. Despite troubled times their inspiring story still remains the same, “our team of dedicated healthcare professionals, support staff and volunteers all share one singular goal; to give every baby, child or adult patient and their families the expert care and support we would want for our own loved ones. And, when the time comes, an end of life journey that is peaceful, comfortable and dignified” - Vikki Harding, Ellenor’s Chief Executive and Linda Coffey Ellenor’s Director of Clinical Care.
