From the Clapham Film Unit a collective of filmmakers comes the documentary ‘Brixton Belongs to Me ...’.

Their aim is to train and equip local people to tell their own stories on film.

We look at the rich black culture of Brixton, with archive footage and an access to the communities that evolved in this part of London.

The heroes and heroines who pioneered sounds that play a part of London culture melting pot!
