Project Dirt is a network that brings together over 3,500 local community projects across the UK, connecting grassroots groups with local people, organisations and businesses who are making their community a better place to live.

Project Dirt is currently supporting the delivery of the Refill campaign in London and you can find out how to get involved below.

About Refill

Refill are on a mission to make it easy, convenient and enjoyable to top up your water bottle by introducing Refill Stations on every street. Their Refill app displays over 10,000 businesses and retailers who are supporting the movement to end single use plastic waste. Find out all about Refill here.

Refill, launched by City to Sea, began in Bristol in 2015 and due to its success, is now a nationwide campaign. Refill London, a collaboration between Refill and Thames Water, reached our buzzing Capital in March 2018. Join the #RefillLondon revolution to celebrate #WorldOceansDay on June 8th. Head over to the Refill page on Project Dirt to find out about the upcoming Refill London Action Days in Islington and Lewisham. Join us to make change for good!

Refill is currently happening around the UK – have a look here to see a list of current Refill schemes! If you are not in London, you can check out the Refill website to see how to start a Refill revolution in your area.

Or head over to Project Dirt to find other volunteering activities happening in your neighbourhood.

Project Dirt organises projects into clusters, where groups can share information and resources with others in their area. Wherever you live, you can Get Together with Project Dirt.
