Get ready to Go Wild
Winter is the perfect time to plan your growing space and spot lesser-known treasures… Go on, take inspiration from Edible Gardens and the Great British Garden Revival. Grab the chance to prepare your space and explore nature.
Ways to Do More this spring
Bring more colour and wildlife to your space by growing in 2020 with groups of friends, colleagues or students in the UK. Sign up to receive growing advice emails from our friends at Grow Wild. Don’t worry; no experience required. Plants love sharing the urban spaces where you relax, work and study.
Feeling creative? Aged 14-25 in the UK? Then apply for a £500 grant from our friends at Grow Wild. They’re looking for imaginative projects inspired by UK native plants or fungi. There’s guidance available every step of the way and opportunities to meet friends and learn life skills while helping your local community (and getting cups of tea). Applications close on the 30th March.
A forest may look sleepy in winter, but is filled with life. Fields too. And even our urban spaces. Get out this winter with your friends and family to explore what nature is about. Tweet us what you find @TogetherukTV.
What’s beneath the autumn leaves? What will grow in spring? You might find vegetables to harvest or ideal locations to plant trees. You may even be inspired to involve people in a brand-new growing space. Get inspiration from our TV shows this season: British Wild Gardens, Great British Garden Revival, The Edible Garden and many more.
Grow Wild brings people together to value and enjoy wildflowers and fungi. They inspire people to grow as a group, get active, learn about nature and give back through volunteering. All of these things can improve wellbeing and transform urban spaces.
Grow Wild shares wildflower seed kits and grow-your-own fungus kits, as well as funding for youth-led projects and lots of online tips.
Grow Wild is supported by the National Lottery Community Fund and through private and public contributions.
Be inspired. Get involved. Together we Do More!
