Alan Titchmarsh visits gardens across the country and shares ideas that can work in real homes and real outdoor spaces. For anyone who has ever dreamed of a fresh start in the countryside, Our Dream Farm brings that idea to life. Hosted by Matt Baker, the series follows hopeful tenants as they take on the reality of farm life. There is beautiful scenery, but this is not a glossy escape from real work. Expect lambing, land management, tough choices and people trying to build a different future with both feet firmly in the mud. It is a warm, grounded watch for anyone who loves farming, countryside stories and people having a proper go at changing their lives.

The Lake District is one of Britain’s most beautiful landscapes, but it can also be one of the most challenging. Lake District Rescue follows the work of mountain rescue teams as they respond to real call-outs across steep paths, remote hillsides and difficult weather. It is full of teamwork, patience and care. A strong watch for anyone who loves the outdoors, community stories and real-life courage.

First on this month: Saturday 6th June at 5pm
Classic adventure fans can enjoy Biggles Adventures in Time this June. The film stars Neil Dickson, Alex Hyde-White, Fiona Hutchison and Peter Cushing. A modern-day salesman is suddenly thrown back to 1917, where he meets legendary fighter pilot Biggles and becomes part of a dangerous wartime mission. It is a lively mix of time travel, action, nostalgia and old-school adventure.

First on this month: Saturday 13th June at 3.30pm
Mrs Ratcliffe’s Revolution brings comedy, family tension and political idealism together. The film stars Catherine Tate, Iain Glen, Brittany Ashworth, Heike Makatsch and Jessica Barden. It follows a British family who move to East Germany in 1968, hoping for a better socialist life. Once they arrive, the dream quickly becomes more complicated. Expect sharp humour, culture shock and a family trying to make sense of a world very different from home.

First on this month: Monday 1st June at 11.15pm

This month we also bring you the latest BBC Lifeline appeal, presented by Ben Fogle, in support of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
Around 18 million adults in the UK are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is a charity dedicated to transforming the lives of people with hearing loss through the support and companionship of specially trained hearing dogs. These dogs help people reconnect with the world around them, bringing confidence, independence and companionship.
