Pride Month 2026: Watch Powerful British LGBTQ+ Stories on Together TV

As we celebrate Pride Month 2026, we're shining a spotlight on the inspiring stories of British queer lives and the impact they have on communities across the UK. These powerful LGBTQ+ stories highlight resilience, identity, love, and the importance of authentic representation in film and media.

In 2022, Together TV funded four emerging filmmakers through the Diverse Film Fund: Queer Lives Today edition, supporting the creation of short films that explored contemporary queer experiences in Britain. The initiative went on to achieve national recognition when filmmaker Shiva Raichandani's short film Always, Asifa received a BAFTA nomination.

This Pride Month, we're revisiting all four films and the remarkable stories they tell. From celebrating individuality and self-expression to championing equality and acceptance, these films remind us why LGBTQ+ representation matters and why no one should ever have to hide who they truly are. After all, love is love, and every story deserves to be heard.
