This documentary is about the artists, poets and revolutionaries who occupied, repaired, and reluctantly had to leave this building in Brixton, London. They kept their home from 1979 – 2014 and this is the story who lived and breathed the building. The characters we meet bring life to the bricks and mortor that is Carlton Mansions. Produced by the Clapham Film Unit who are a collective of filmmakers. Their aim is to train and equip local people to tell our own stories on film. They also organise screenings and hold an archive of work by our members, as well as providing filmmaking advice to the local community.
